Are You Scared???
I have to say, Halloween has never been my forte. I'm scared of everything! I've only been to a haunted once and that was 7 years ago, I've never been on a haunted hay ride, and I've never dressed in a scary costume.
Last year, a couple friends and I were minions! Everyone looked at us like we were a bunch of insane college kids, but this year I saw that costume everywhere. That and Minnie Mouse...
This time, I wanted to do something different. Something that would make people look without having to take off all my clothes. In Wisconsin, October 31st is NOT a warm day. So instead, I focused on a makeup look. Since I'm inexperienced in this area, I turned to Youtube for a tutorial on something I thought I could pull off. I found the Pumpkin King tutorial by MadeULook by Lex and this was the result of my first attempt.
Pretty cool if you ask me! I am the Pumpkin Queen! In the tutorial, Lex uses Mehron makeup, but since I'm a broke college student, I used dollar store black and white face paint. It was so cool to walk around with, and my outfit was just black so I got to wear warm pants and sweatshirt.
It just goes to show that you can try anything! Don't ever think a look is too complicated. Practice makes perfect! :)
